Geradette “Geri” Murray Dyche
1951-2016

unnamedGeradette “Geri” Murray Dyche, 64, of Hoyt, formerly of Topeka, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
She was born November 14, 1951 in Visalia, CA, the daughter of John and Ezaura Sylvia Vierra. She graduated from Tulare Union High School in Tulare, CA in 1969 and attended Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA.
Geri was a former member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Topeka, and a Lector at the church. While living in St. Joseph, MO she attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. In Topeka she was involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Catholic Singles Group, Beginning Experience and the Topeka Chamber of Commerce.
She moved to Topeka after being hired by Adams Business Forms to automate all company processes. She later built and managed her own business for many years, eBiz Software.
On October 11, 2003 she married Steve Dyche in Clinton, MO. They made their home in St. Joseph, MO, until recently moving to the Hoyt area. He survives, of the home.
Geri was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Agnes Sylvia.
Other survivors include a son, Bryan Murray and fiancé Casey Cole, Fort Collins, CO; a step-son, Steven Dyche and wife Cathie, St. Clair, MO; a step-daughter, Lynn Bowser and husband, Peter, New Haven, CT; one brother, Gene Vierra and wife Marcia, Arroyo Grande, CA, a sister, Cynthia Shaffer and husband Reed, Tulare, CA; ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 4th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mayetta. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Hoyt. Geri will lie in state Monday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt where visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 6:30. Vicki Lynn McLaughlin
1947-2016

unnamedVicki Lynn McLaughlin 68, of Norfolk, NE passed away Friday September 30, 2016 in Saint Joseph, MO health care center. She was born November 27, 1947 in Fremont, Nebraska daughter of Ada & Clyde Brandon SR. She was a Homemaker, and loved to read and collect angels & pens. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fremont, NE. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clyde Brandon JR, and Dewayne Brandon, three sisters, Darla Christensen, Betty Bradbury, and Marcy DePew. She is survived by daughter, Jolene (David) Sutton of St. Joseph, MO, son, Chris Andersen of South Lake Tahoe, CA, grandchildren: Nicole, Casey, Erik, Alexis, Rachel, Heather, sister, Diana (Don) Fisher of Fremont, NE, sister, Audrey (Jim) Hancock of Fremont, NE, sister, Beverly DePew of CA. Tamela Jean Kalamon
1950-2016

Tamela “Tammy” Kalamon, 66, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home. She was born June 19, 1950 in St. Joseph, MO. She graduated from Lafayette High School, and married Steven Kalamon on March 10, 1970. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking fish, and spending time with her family. She was a Catholic. She was preceded in death by father, Donald Townsend, mother, Jeannine Jo Bates, two sons, Steven Kalamon and Jeffrey Kalamon, and a brother, Michael Lane. Survivors include, husband, Steven Kalamon of the home, son, Chad (Shelly) Kalamon of Agency, MO, grandchildren: Ashley, Steven, Mariah, and Tessa, and a great grandchild Kayden Evans, three brothers, Terry (Renatta) Lane of Tacoma, WA, Larry (Valerie) Lane of Talala, OK, and Donnie Lane of Joplin, MO, and a 1/2 brother, David Lane.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Rupp Funeral Home with Rev. Beau Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial are requested to the Tammy Kalamon Memorial Fund.

Mary F. Campbell
1939-2016

Campbell, Mary F. Obit photoMary F. Campbell, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home.
She was born November 9, 1939, in Nodaway, Missouri.
Mary graduated from Lafayette, Class of 1957 and worked at Heartland Hospital for many years before retiring.
She enjoyed crafts, flowers, hummingbirds, her cats and giving to the Humane Society. The most precious thing to her was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy “Red” Campbell; parents, Carl and Anna (Meadows) Arn; and brother, C. Duane Arn.
Survivors include sons, Darin Campbell (Kristen) of Kearney, Missouri and Brian Campbell of Parkville, Missouri; brothers, Donald Arn (Nancy) and Kenneth Arn (Pam); sister-in-law, Diana Arn; grandchildren, Gaige, Avery, Spencer, Bryce, and Kaleb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
