Richard Berry 1986-2015

20150428-150546_BerryRichardRichard James Berry 28, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was born September 11, 1986 in St. Joseph, MO. He loved baseball, basketball and music. Survivors include, mother, Penny (Wayne) Stanton of Saint Joseph, MO, father, Michael Smithers of Highland, KS, son, Richard Berry, Jr. daughter, Daessa Louder, two brothers, Michael Berry, and Chuck Smithers, and several other step brothers and stepsisters.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a celebration and sharing of stories to start 7:00 PM. William C. Billy Taylor 1950-2015

William C. Billy Taylor, 64, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born May 20, 1950 to Wilbur and Vesta (Campbell) Taylor in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Billy loved to dance at the Moose Club and liked to paint and create rugs on the loom. He was also a volunteer at Saxton Country Villa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his uncle, Dr. Jewell Taylor, Plattsburg, Missouri; aunts, Helen Ray, Wanetta, Oklahoma; and Darlene Stanton, St. Joseph, special cousins, Roxanne Fisher and Susan Taylor; and numerous other cousins; and his special extended family at Riverside Place.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Frazier Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. Karen Y. Hedrick 1938-2014

Karen Y. Hedrick, 76, Gower, Missouri passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Luke?s Northland Hospital.
She was born October 23, 1938 to Denzel and Olive Louder in Kingston, Missouri.
Karen married Leroy Hedrick on May 27, 1983.
She worked as a controller at TWA for 22 years.
Karen enjoyed playing piano, playing cards, bowling and her family.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include; husband, Leroy; children, Dennis (Dee) Nelson, Debbie Coble, Don (Brenda) Nelson, Doug (Kris) Nelson, and Denise (Jason) Fricke; grandchildren, Casey (Tina), Courtney, Christina (Josh), Katie, Spencer, Bethany, and Grant; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Jaxson, Kyan, Cooper, and Kaylee; other relatives and many friends; and her beloved dog Sparkey.

Margaret Bessie Findley
1926-2015

Margaret Findley, 88, Maryville, Missouri died April 27, 2015 at SSM St.
Francis Hospital.

Margaret was born July 1, 1926, in Bedison Missouri to Ralph Wallace Pratt
and Ida Roena Shinabargar. She married Garland Edward Findley on August
21, 1950, in Maryville.

She was a graduate of Maryville High School and Northwest Missouri State
Teacher’s College. She retired after a 36 1/2 year teaching career. She was
a special education instructor in the intermediate grades at North Nodaway
School, Hopkins and Pickering.

She taught at North Nodaway for 24 years. Previously, she taught at
Guilford, Skidmore, Sheridan and Gaynor.

Mrs. Findley went back to college after nearly 25 years of teaching to
obtain her special education certificate.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Preceding in death were her parents, husband Edward Findley ( May 30, 2014),
sister Mary Ruth Brogan and brother Charles Pratt.

She is survived by her son Ralph (Judy) Findley, Unionville, Missouri;
daughters: Rosa Lea Lancey, Savannah, Missouri and Garland (Paul) George,
Maryville; grandchildren: Jo Ann (Darrin) Harvey, Charlie Findley, Amy
Findley, Jeffrey Findley, Teresa (Chris) Cluck, Denise (Jeremy) Peters,
Laura (Mike) Bissen, Karen (Nathan) Dingman, Cathy George, Tisch (John)
Erdman, McKechnie (Justin) Reese, 14 great and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 1, 2015, at the Price Funeral Home,
Maryville with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 PM.

Burial will be at Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville.

Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice in Margaret’s name.
