A single-vehicle crash in Nodaway County Wednesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Clifford Hiles, 51, of Skidmore, was driving a box truck along U.S. Highway 71 in Wilcox when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

According to the crash report, Hiles suffered minor injuries. His passenger, 42-year-old Jeremy Lamm suffered what were described as moderate injuries. Both were transported to SSM Health St Francis for treatment.
