A Skidmore man suffered moderate injuries after a crash Saturday night in Nodaway County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Kyle E. Lance was driving west on 330th Street just west of Route H and six miles south of Maryville at 10:15 p.m. when his vehicle went off the south side of the road, struck a fence, traveled through a field and struck a gate.

The crash report said Lance suffered moderate injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

According to the MSHP arrest report, Lyle was arrested at 11:22 p.m. Saturday for investigation of a felony for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash and failure to display valid registration on motor vehicle. No charges have been filed according to online court documents as of Monday morning.
