ATCHISON COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Atchison County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Dodge Dakota driven by Rhonda L. Boyle, 53, Troy, was northbound on Mineral Point Road one mile south of 150th Road. The driver lost control due to gravel and speed. The vehicle exited the roadway to the east down an embankment.

Boyle was transported to the Atchison Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
