A dispute between roommates led to a stabbing outside a Saint Joseph apartment last night. Investigators say a 25 year old man was stabbed in a parking lot at 2121 Riverside Road shortly before 7 pm. The victim was taken to Heartland for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect fled but returned to the area later. Officers serving a warrant arrested the 22 year old suspect at the apartment he shared with the victim. He was jailed for investigation of assault.
