A Cameron Man was seriously hurt after driving his Dodge Stratus into the side of a moving semi west of Cameron .

Kyle Hargrave,18, was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center by ambulance, and then transferred by helicopter to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Hargrave tried to cross US-36 highway at Route-C shortly after 3pm Monday and hit the truck.

The other driver, Robert Finn of Trimont, MN., was not hurt.
