A pickup truck was rear-ended by a semi along I-35 near Winston Monday morning. The driver escaped with minor injuries.

Authorities say the big rig hit a trailer from behind. The pickup and trailer rolled off the side of the road and overturned.

The semi careened through the median, and wound up blocking all traffic on the interstate for nearly two hours.

The driver of the semi was not hurt. The driver of the pickup, Luis Deleon, 34, of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, suffered what were described as minor injuries and was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
