The Digital News Assistant is responsible for monitoring news website comments, adding content to selected sites, monitoring and adding content to social media tools for new sites, assisting in developing new social media tools for the news sites and the design of web advertising. You must have a general knowledge of news, be able to work independently, be attentive to detail, have strong verbal communication skills, and able to take and follow direction. Social Media experience is required, graphic design experience is a plus. This position requires the ability to work non-traditional hours. This position is located in Manhattan, Kansas.

Compensation is dependent on experience, along with a competitive benefits package.
