Authorities in Leavenworth, Kansas say a man was fatally shot early Saturday morning.

According to police, Dick Mathis, 31, was pronounced dead after he taken to a hospital at 3 a.m. by two associates.

Witnesses told police that Mathis was shot while driving in Leavenworth.

There have been no arrests in the case.
