There have been new developments in the investigation into the death of a St Joseph woman whose body was found in Platte County last Friday, September 13.

The death is now believed to have occurred in St Joseph. The body of Tangela Fisher was found in a home made box in northern Platte County.  (More Here)

According to Platte County officials, investigators with the Metro Squad learned late in the day September 17 that Fisher’s death is now believed to have occurred in St Joseph.

The Metro Squad has turned over the investigation to the St. Joseph, Missouri Police Department. Commander Janice Rothganger alerted the media of that change on Wednesday, but said that at this time they had no new information to release. The investigation is ongoing.
