This world wasn’t big enough for Isaac’s personality. He gave us so much, and everything he gave was something real, something strong, something brave. Most of all, he showed us how to be carefree while living a genuine life. Isaac was a very spiritual person – he was an angel, and we were blessed to have had the privilege of borrowing him for a time.
To know Isaac Justin is to love him. He was a cornerstone of joy and light in every life that he knew. Isaac showed us how to love ourselves for who we are and never be ashamed of our deepest truths, whether positive or negative. He gave everything and asked for nothing in return.
All we can do now is to spread the love he poured into us, holding on to and sharing the millions of extraordinary memories he gave us. We all love you, Isaac. Your love was and will always be one of the greatest gifts we have ever been given.

Case.net pilots “Track this case” feature

seal of missouri supreme court in blueJEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Following court cases through Case.net – Missouri’s
online access to information in the statewide case management system – is
now easier thanks to a feature called “Track This Case.” The new feature
allows parties and the public to be notified by e-mail about docket
activity in a particular case. It is available for all public cases on
Case.net, except those handled through the Fine Collection Center.

The “Track This Case” feature can be found under the “Case Header” tab of
each case. The link – identifiable by an icon with blue footprints – is
located at the bottom of the page. To begin tracking cases, a user must
enter a valid e-mail address. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to that
address with a link that must be followed to enable tracking. There also is
a “Tracking Reports” option that provides the user a list of all cases he
or she is currently tracking.

“Track This Case” e-mail notices are sent once a day, typically early in
the morning, and include docket entries made in the tracked case the
preceding day. These e-mail notices are provided as a convenience and are
not official court records. If a case becomes confidential, then
notifications cease.

The new feature was rolled out without fanfare this past November to
evaluate in a controlled manner any impacts to Case.net as tracking numbers
grew. As of today, approximately 20,000 cases are being tracked by more
than 15,000 users. Piloting sustainability of the new feature will continue
through the end of 2016.

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Northwest Missouri State University will host woman’s equality activist Lilly Ledbetter as the next guest of its Distinguished Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 8.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Charles Johnson Theater at the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building. Ledbetter also will talk with students and faculty at 3:30 p.m. Room 40 of the Valk Center.

Ledbetter landed her dream job in 1979 at the Goodyear tire company and was one of the first females to be hired at the management level. After nearly two decades at the company, however, she discovered she was receiving thousands of dollars less than her male peers.

Ledbetter fought the injustice, taking her case to the Supreme Court and eventually becoming the namesake of President Barack Obama’s first official piece of legislation in 2009, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act.

In 2012, Ledbetter authored “Grace and Grit: My Fight for Equal Pay and Fairness at Goodyear and Beyond,” which she reveals the trials she has faced in her life and how she overcame them. Ledbetter continues to fight for equal rights by encouraging other women and minorities to join the pursuit for equality.
