The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 10 p.m. for several counties in northwest Missouri.

MISSOURI COUNTIES INCLUDED ARE

ATCHISON, HOLT, NODAWAY

The NWS said severe storms are possible tonight in advance of a cold front that
is expected to move through the region. Large hail, damaging winds,
and an isolated tornado or two will be possible, primarily across
far northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Storms should weaken
as they continue to track east of I-35 overnight.
