Warmer temps and no rain until Sunday

weather-4-6After 13 consecutive days of at least a trace of precipitation, things will finally dry out through Saturday and warm up in the process. Highs today will remain below normal in the mid to upper 50s but will return to near normal Friday with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Rain chances continue into Wednesday

The rainy and stormy weather will continue through mid-week. Expect showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm today with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Tuesday night there is even the potential for some strong storms capable of small hail and gusty winds. Rainy weekend ahead

There will be plenty of lulls in between these periods of rain so the weekend should not be a complete washout. By early next week there should be around a quarter inch to a full inch added to the tally.
