Karen Sue Stagner 67, of Agency, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18, 1946 in Maryville, MO, daughter of Florence and Frank Totten. She graduated from Lafayette high school and married James “Harold” Stagner on July 20, 1964 in St. Joseph, MO. She worked at Oliver’s restaurant at the Farris Truck Stop as a Waitress for many years. She was a terrific cook, who liked to sew, and enjoyed crafts, spending time with her kids and grandchildren, she was a Christian. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Frank Wesley Totten, and a grandchild, Cory Funk. Survivors include, husband, James “Harold” Stagner of the home, her mother, Florence Marie Totten of Amazonia, MO, three daughters, Kettra Stagner of Pierce City, MO, Angela Pritchett and husband Pat of Agency, MO, and Kerri Jo Stagner of Hampton, VA, nine grandchildren: Jeremy & Sean Kerns, Courtney Jensen, Jessica Atteberry, Samantha & MaeLeigh Funk, Nick & Logan Pritchett, and thirteen great grandchildren, a sister, Anita (Bob) McQuiston of Amazonia, MO, and a half sister, Jean (Ron) Schweizer of Amazonia, MO.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home, with officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Margie Lou Keirsey, 83, Maryville, Missouri, died Monday, November 11, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Maryville.
Margie was born August 27, 1930, in Carson, Iowa to Melvin and Annie Belle (Parham) Elam.
A 1948 graduate of Maryville High School, she was a homemaker.
She married Robert Keirsey on November 18, 1951 in Huntsville, Arkansas.
Margie was a Charter Member of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and served on many church committees. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, singing, and was a master pie maker. Margie liked working in the yard, keeping her family’s home, and welcoming visitors to it. She valued and
enjoyed her friends and church family, and loved to travel with her close friends, the Walkers and the Downings.
Preceding in death were her parents and sisters Doris Evelyn Goslee and Eula Belle (Boots) Harbin.
Survivors include her husband Robert Keirsey of their home, daughter Shanda Kay Keirsey, Maryville, son Randall Eugene Keirsey, Claremore, Oklahoma, five grandchildren: Angela Keirsey, Ozark, Missouri, Anna (Jason) Poole, Quannah, Texas, Jon (Lauren) Keirsey, Amarillo, Texas, Rob Duvall, Kansas City, Missouri, and Pell (Bren) Duvall, Omaha, Nebraska. Four great grandchildren: Jack Poole, Millie Kate Poole, Indigo Duvall and Colton Keirsey, two brothers William (Delora) Elam, Carthage, Missouri, and Dean Elam, Warsaw, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2013, from 1-2 PM at Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville.

He was raised in St. Joseph, MO, where he graduated from Benton High School in 1973. Tim worked in the Floral industry for most of his life where he was a designer and manager with Stuppy’s. He enjoyed art and nature, and was a loving son, brother, father and grand-father. Tim was preceded in death by his father. Dorothy M. Brown, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri died Monday, November 4, 2013 at her home.
She was born July 3, 1927 to Wyatt Jr. and Beatrice (Smith) King in Kildare, Texas.
She married Algridge E. Brown on January 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2001.
Dorothy was the co-owner of Al’s Thrifty Market and successfully established and operated a beauty salon for several years. She was a member of St. Francis Baptist Temple and the Mission Board of the church and a volunteer at the Open Door Food Kitchen.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharon “Sherri”; one sister; and two brothers.

Loraine (Sauter) Rajca, 66, Oregon, Missouri died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 19, 1947 to Donald and Norene (Rudolph) Martin.
She married Stanley Rajca in 2010.
Loraine graduated from Savannah High School in 1965. She worked as a radiologist and later at Snorkel for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, watching bull riding and collecting Angel figurines and was a wonderful cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and first husband, Butch Sauter in 1985.
Survivors: husband, Stanley Rajca; daughters, Karen Birkinsha (Mike) and Lynette Hurst (C.J.); three grandchildren, Rilea and Seth Birkinsha and Wynter B. Hurst; brother, Steve Martin (Glenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Benton P. Eastbourn, 93, St. Joseph, Missouri, formerly of Pinole, California died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at a local health care facility.
He was born January 13, 1920 to Galen and Nannie (Pyles) Eastbourn.
Benton proudly served in the Army during WWII and The Korean Conflict and was honorable discharged as a Master Sergeant. He later was a member of The American Legion in Pinole, California. He worked for many years at the Hexel Corp and retired from the California State Highway Department. Benton was a kind man who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma in 2003; parents; brothers, Donald, Maurice, Robert and Carmen Eastbourn; and sisters, Margaret Quereau and Dorothy Eastbourn.
Survivors: sister, Nancy Nichols (John) St. Joseph, Missouri; sister-in-law, Peggy Eastbourn, Fair Oaks, California; and many nieces and nephews.

Ellen Hall Mothershead
Ellen Hall Mothershead, wife, mother, grandmother, sister; Girl Scout, Cheerleader, Majorette, Den-Mother, Little League Coach; Office Manager, Financial Aid Officer: typist, editor, and critic of her husband’s academic endeavors; caregiver, anchor and lighthouse to her husband, family and close friends has left this world. Surely with this life she will have an
abundance of rewards in the next.
Ellen, the daughter of Orville and Lecie Hall, was born October 16, 1933 in St. Joseph, Missouri, graduated from Hopkins High School, 1951, married Harmon Mothershead, June 1, 1952, at the First Christian Church in Maryville. Ellen was the secretary for Western Adjustment in Maryville, storm secretary out of their Chicago office during her husband’s tour in Korea, moved to Denver, Colorado and continued to work for Western until her first son , Kelly Ross , was born in 1956. A second son, Kimball Hall, was born seven years later, Ellen spent those years in Colorado raising her sons and providing moral support and much needed clerical assistance to help her husband through two graduate degrees at the University of Colorado. The family returned to Maryville, and Northwest Missouri State in 1965, where she became a Financial Aid Officer and office manager for some thirteen years. Her later years were filled with care giving to her family and enjoyment in their activities and achievements. Ellen was a member of
the Rainbow for Girls, Order of the Eastern Star, First United Methodist Church, (especially the Care Group) as well as professional organizations associated with financial aids.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Harmon; two sons Kelly and Vonda of Lee’s Summit, and Kimball and Stacey of Smithville; two grandsons, Taylor and Tanner, and one granddaughter, Kelsey, all of Smithville; two sisters Macy Ann Bridgewater, of Des Moines, Iowa, and Carolea (Ross) Miller of Blue Springs, Missouri.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the Funeral Service, which will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville, with Reverend Scott Moon officiating.
